Plasma Donation Drive by Lions Club Delhi-Gurugram
To celebrate the 74th Independence Day of India, a plasma donation drive was initiated by the Lions Club Delhi Gurugram Distt 321 A2, duly chartered by Lions Club International which marks one year presence in Gurugram.
The plasma donation was done at the Distt administration plasma bank which is based out of the Rotary Club. Donors Naval Kishore, Sumit Khanna and Md Imitiaz donated their plasma which can be used in the treatment of Covid positive patients.
Amit Khatri, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Gurugram also visited the facility to boost the morale of the donors and encourage other Covid recovered patients to come forward and donate plasma for the welfare of community.
“Over 8 plasma donations have been done so far by Lions Club Delhi Gurugram which will help treat 16 Covid positive patients,” says Lion Loveleen Kumar Satija. “We aim to continue our efforts in identifying potential plasma donors to create a plasma bank for the citizens of the city.”
