The District Administration and Municipal Corporation, Gurugram, invite entries to honour excellence in art and culture. Nominations are now open for the Kalagram Kala Samman 2025 awards in Gurugram. Residents of Gurugram distinguished in the fields of art, literature, music, traditional dance forms, and artists with special needs are eligible to apply. The first phase of nominations is open until July 15, 2025.
Now in its fourth edition, the awards will be presented by the Kalagram Society for Fine Art Initiatives to recognise outstanding contributions across various fields of art and culture in a glittering ceremony next month in the presence of eminent guests and previous years’ award winners.
Award categories open for nomination include:
*Classical Music*: Vocal and Instrumental
– *Classical Dance*: Various traditional forms
– *Poetry & Literature*: Original works in any language
– *Visual Arts*: Painting, Sculpture, and more
– *Theatre*: Outstanding performances
– *Design & Media*: Creative excellence
– *Haryana Folk Artist*: Vocal, Dance, or Both
– *Youth Artist of the Year*: Emerging talent under spotlight
– *Artist with Special Needs*: Showcasing unique abilities
– *Lifetime Achievement*: Honouring legendary artists
– *Art & Culture Dedication*: Commitment to promoting art
The awards seek to honour outstanding contributions across various categories, including classical music (both vocal and instrumental), classical dance, poetry and literature, visual arts (such as painting and sculpture), theatre, design and media, Haryanvi folk art, artists with special needs, young artists, lifetime achievement, and dedication to art and culture.
“These awards not only recognise the contributions of individual artists but also aim to encourage emerging talent across local and national platforms,” adds Shikha Gupta, Director of Kalagram.
Interested individuals and institutions can submit their nominations by July 15, 2025. The application process has been made completely digital, and entries can be submitted via the following Google Form link:

The selected awardees will be honoured at a grand cultural event to be held in Gurugram, which is expected to see participation from renowned personalities from the fields of art, literature, music, and theatre. The nominations would be short listed by the Kalagram Committee members and distinguished jury headed by DC and MCG Commissioner Gurugram.
