Jeff Kinney, author of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid, visits India
To mark the launch of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: No Brainer,” the 18th title in the globally acclaimed series, Jeff Kinney, the renowned author and illustrator, is embarking on a week-long, multi-city tour in India. Scheduled for December, the tour includes visits to Mumbai, Kochi, and Delhi, offering entertaining events for both the public and schools. This tour presents Jeff’s Indian fans with a unique opportunity to witness his live presence for the first time since 2016.
Commencing with a public event at the Sophia Bhabha Auditorium in Mumbai on December 10th, the tour continues with a multi-school event at St. Teresa’s College in Kochi on December 11th, followed by a school visit in Delhi and a grand finale at a closed-door event in central Delhi on December 14th.
The No Brainer show’: an immersive, highly entertaining ‘game-show’ event for families to celebrate librarians and reading around the world, themed around his brand-new book Diary of a Wimpy Kid: No Brainer, the 18th book in the series. Notably, the No Brainer Show pays homage to librarians worldwide, recognising their vital role in connecting young readers with engaging books. In a recent interview with Publisher Weekly, Jeff Kinney emphasised the importance of supporting and appreciating librarians, acknowledging their passion for guiding readers to the right books. The show offers the audience and special guest librarians a chance to win various prizes and books.
