Do you know?
- Bees are the only insect in the world that make food that people can eat. A bee flies thousand of flowers to make a spoonful of honey. There are various types of honey which taste different depending on the flowers used to make it.
- There are three kinds of bees in a hive: Queen, Worker and Drone. Only the Queen in the hive lays eggs. The queen lays around 1,500 eggs per day. If a worker bee uses her stinger, she dies.
- Honey contains all of the substances needed to sustain life, including enzymes, water, minerals and vitamins. It is the only food to contain ‘pinocembrin’ that improves brain function.

Cheelu Peelu’s Sports Day
CheeluPeelu skipped around the couch, while humming, “Nnnnn nnnn!”
Coco, her dog followed wagging his tail.
Dad asked, “Cheelu Peelu, why are you on cloud nine today?”
“Dad, I am not on the cloud.”
“Look, I am walking on the floor.” She glanced at her feet taking one step at a time. CheeluPeelu’s simple brain could only understand the literal meaning of the words.
Dad added, “I want to know what is making my girl super happy?”
“When you will listen to what CheeluPeelu did today, you will be on cloud nine too. Our daughter has done us all proud!” exclaimed Cheelu Peelu’s mom.
“She came last in the race at her school’s sports day…”
“Tell me more,” said Biji now sitting upright on her big comfortable chair.
Mom continued, “While running the race, one of the girls twisted her ankle and tripped. CheeluPeelu stopped running and helped the fallen student.”
“CheeluPeelu lost the race, but she won everyone’s hearts. The audience cheered as she helped her classmate get up on her feet again.”
“And the Principal gave CheeluPeelu a special award to display true sportsman spirit.” said Mom.
“Cheelu Peelu, we need to celebrate your kind act!” said Dad.
“ICE-CREAM?” suggested CheeluPeelu.
“Sure, let’s go champ!” said Dad.
