The landmark announcement came from DP World’s global leadership team at a press conference held at the iconic Delhi Golf Club, just ahead of the much-anticipated DP World India Championship. The excitement soared when golf superstars Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood made an unexpected appearance, taking the stage amidst cheers and applause. In a symbolic moment that captured the spirit of the game and DP World’s vision, the two world champions ceremoniously ‘opened the doors’ of the Clubhouse mock-up, an impressive installation set up in the fan zone at DGC, giving attendees a glimpse of what’s to come at Zen Golf.
This development marks a significant milestone for Indian golf, promising world-class infrastructure, global exposure, training and opportunities for the country’s emerging golf talent.
